Baked Brie

This is a delicious and easy appetizer to make! MMmmmm I love me some brie cheese!

Ingredients:
Brie cheese (doesn't matter the size)
Puff pastry sheets (Make sure you don't get any other size, you want sheets.

1. Let the puff pastry thaw a bit until it's soft enough to wrap around the brie.
2. Cut the white stuff off of the brie cheese. (Some people like it, so if you do, you can leave it on. It's not harmful to eat. I just think it's nasty. :))
3. Wrap 1 sheet of the puff pastry around the brie.
4. Bake in an oven around 350 degrees for about 12 min. or until it's golden brown.
5. Slice open with a knife, and enjoy with crackers. You can even use those cute little cheese knives to put it on the cracker. :)

*If you want to get a little fancy, on top of the brie you can put a mixture of walnuts, brown sugar, whisky, and then put on the puff pastry. And in this case, you can use apple slices to dip instead of crackers.

  1. mmmm I'm definitely going to have to try this. We eat the nasty white stuff as part of our Brie cheese experience :P
I wonder if you could top the Brie with a preserve before you wrap it in pastry? Would it survive the baking? Lisa makes a great hot pepper Peach jam which I think would be yummy with the Brie
